The item is too short and barely extends below the chin, more like an extended balaclava hat really. If you're looking for an integrated snood+neck warmer combo this is no good at all. To keep cold draughts from blowing down your neck you'd need to wear a separate neck-warmer along with this weird item. Mine will be returned as I've found much better fleece snoods which have very long necks that keep you toasty warm and are lower cost.
