These are GREAT! If you like to fish after dark, these lights may be just what your looking for! These little gadgets attach to the tip of your favorite fishing rod and make it much easier to see when you're getting a bite. This is especially great for me because I'm legally blind and usually have a hard time watching my pole after dark. These lighted fishing pole tips make it so easy for me to keep an eye on my rod and see when I'm getting a bite! Absolutely must have product for night fishermen! I love these!

So, first to set the record straight: There are FIVE little battery-operated LED lights here that fit on the end of your fishing pole. FOUR of those lights are simply that, lights. They're useful because they let you see where your rod tip is at dusk and into dark. The fifth attachment is a "bite sensor," which is a great idea, but a fish nibble can be more subtle than other forces that might act on the rod tip: Strong breeze, water current, heavy wake from a (rude) passing boat, etc. And, since most fervid fishermen I know gauge the interest of a fish by the feel of the rod, this is kind of a Captain Obvious signal: By the time the rod is signaling and you're sure it's not just some other cause, you're probably already setting the hook. So, five stars as a way to find your rod tip at night. Probably two stars for the bite sensor, so it evens out to four, IMO. Recommended.
