Excellent product, very strong magnets which grip extremely well. No more worrying about your rod shooting off with a savage bite, the magnets hold the rod in place and start to attract as you place your rod near them. They are really easy to set up they look and feel good and should last a long time. They hold the rod, stopping it from sliding down when its windy with the rod tip touching the water ,ive had a rod ring push the bite alarm on off button when i used the butt eye to hold the rod back. the only real problem is the magnetic grip is so strong when I picked up a rod from my pod it lifted the pod shaking everything and a needed to reset the tension on my swinger's. I had a look inside where the magnet is housed and ill try to get a weaker magnet to try. A good thing about the method of attaching them to the rod is the rubber strap let's me attach a mini glow stick on the top of my rod so I can see the butt end if I get a bite and stops me tripping over them in the dark. Overall worth using I would recommend them.
