The Ourcq is a 87 Kilometre long 54 Mile river in France, a tributary of the Marne. Its source is Nr the village Roncheres & its course crosses the departments of Aisne, Oise & Seine et Marne. It flows southwest through the towns of Fere en Tardenois, La Ferte Milon, Mareuil sur Ourcq & Crouy sur Ourcq, finally flowing into the Marne Nr Lizy sur Ourcq. Napoleon I made use of the river as a water source & it supplied the city of Paris until Baron Haussmanns rebuilding of Paris. Carp, Big Catfish, Bream, Chub, Tench, Roach, Perch, Zander & Pike.
